Church Multiplication Ministries
Participating with Jesus to start new kinds of churches for all kinds of people, in all kinds of places

Starting new churches with a Trinitarian, Christ-centered foundation... provides the motivation for Grace Communion International (GCI) mission, vision and ministries. GCI believes that God loves all humanity and through Jesus, all people are forgiven, redeemed and included in the fellowship of the Trinity as God's adopted children. GCI is dedicated to proclaiming this message by starting new kinds of churches, for all kinds of people, in all kinds of places.

Why Ministry Coaching?

Why Ministry Coaching?

Church Multiplication Ministries (CMM) of Grace Communion International believes in the value of providing skilled ministry coaches for leaders of new churches. Research reveals that productivity, skill development, morale, and working relationships improve when training is combined with coaching.

Coaches participate in the unique work of the Holy Spirit in people’s lives. So ministry coaches do not set expectations or agendas. They believe people should take responsibility, with the guidance of the Spirit, for their own growth. Coaches help people discover and use their gifts, experience and resources to be fruitful in ministry. With the assistance of a coach, people are better able to develop goals, stay on target, and maintain balance.

The value of ministry coaching is realized as the coach listens for understanding and asks good questions. The coach does not act as a consultant by teaching or directing but listens carefully to understand what God’s will is for each person’s personal, family and ministry life. As coaches listen to understand, they help people see the progress they are making toward achieving goals, finding solutions, and clarifying their thinking. Through listening and asking questions, coaches also provide affirmation, encouragement, and accountability.

Have you ever felt like you have ample information but aren’t certain how to apply it? Then coaching may be what you are looking for. A skilled and caring coach can help you better understand God’s will, gain perspective, tap into new motivation, and prepare for increased service to God and other people.

CMM has coach trainers and ministry coaches willing to serve you and your congregation. To learn more about ministry coaching visit our CMM website at ccc.wcg.org. To schedule a coach training workshop, contact GCI Church Administration and Development (800-574-2299).
